The Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals was a great event that featured some of the best drag racing drivers in the world. These drivers included Steve Torrence, Bo Butner, and Eddie Krawiec. Here’s a look at some of the other winners of the weekend. Read on to see who dominated the field?
Bo Butner
In his first time on a nitro-powered dragster, Bo Butner won the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals on Saturday night. He clocked a time of 4.065 on a 4.06 dial to win the event. His win was just one of many highlights of his first year as a dragster driver. However, he’s far from finished. He has two more races with K.B. Racing. In total, he has six wins in 19 final rounds. In addition, he has been a No. 1 qualifier on eight occasions.
The second stop of the season is the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals. It is the second of three events in the NHRA Western Swing. In addition to Bo Butner’s victory, other top drivers from the Western Swing swept the show. Erica Enders and Bob Tasca III also won in their respective classes.

Brittany Force
Brittany Force was back in action Sunday night at the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals, finishing in the semifinals. She improved her point’s standings, moving into the top five of the Top Fuel point’s standings. The Toyota driver qualified second on Friday but did not complete a full pass on Saturday. The Sonoma Nationals is Force’s second event of the Western Swing, and she was hoping to carry her momentum into her final round.
Torrance finished runner-up but took the points to lead from Force after winning the opening round quad. Torrence was second to Force in the second round, and both made it to the championship round. The four drivers in the final round were making their first appearances in the championship round.
Eddie Krawiec
The Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals raced 15 of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. The race featured four classes, including Pro Stock Motorcycle. The winner of the Pro Stock Motorcycle class was Eddie Krawiec. He won his first career Wally by defeating Jianna Evaristo in the first round and Katie Sullivan in the second round. Krawiec went on to beat Scott Palmer in the finals.
The Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals also featured a Pro Stock Motorcycle event that included races in the Sonoma Wine Country. In addition to the Sportsman division, there was also a Funny Car class. In addition to winning the Sportsman class, the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals featured three other races. Pro Stock Motorcycle racer Joey Gladstone earned his first Pro Stock Motorcycle victory.
Steve Torrence

Steve Anderson
The Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals featured four NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Sportsman champions visiting the winner’s circle for the first time. The victory was also the 27th of the career for Super Stock champion Jody Lang.
Anderson was one win shy of his 100th career victory. This was his first appearance in the finals since the 2014 event. He beat Steve Graham, Bo Butner, and his teammate Kyle Koretsky to capture the title. Now, he can lay claim to his second NHRA championship. In addition to Anderson’s win, a new Sportsman champion was crowned. He won the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals on Sunday. The Sonoma Raceway event will be broadcast on FOX. Live coverage of the final eliminations will begin at 4:00 p.m. E.T. on Sunday. This race will be the ninth in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.
