10 Toddler Toys That Every Playroom Must Have

I used to say that I would never have a playroom because the kids would just live in our home and I would find a place for toddler toys. But, after having two children in less than two years, I yearned for more space and a playroom to house all of their toys. We finally moved, and I carved out a huge playroom for the toddler toys!

I’m sharing all of our toddler toys playroom favorites. All of these must-haves for the playroom are items that we own and enjoy, or items that come highly recommended by close friends and family.

  • Padded Play Mat

We have a Padded Rubber Mat that we maintain at the bottom of the slide to provide the boys a soft landing. Tummy time, outdoor play, playroom picnics, or just a nice spot to sit and play are all possibilities.

  • Climbing Mats

For my son’s first birthday, we received this Climbing Mat Set, which is ideal for younger babies who want to crawl and climb, as well as older toddlers who enjoy building forts and obstacle courses. I really like the modern color palette.

  • Toddler Trampoline

a must-have for any child’s playroom! Our Toddler Trampoline is rotated between our playroom, bedrooms, and the backyard, and the boys are always drawn to it to burn off steam.

  • Play Kitchen

The Play Kitchen, another item on our wish list, is ideal for imaginative play for both girls and boys. It’s available in three colors: white, charcoal, and pink, and it’s made of wood, so it’s solid and long-lasting.

  • Tepee or Tent

These are adorable in a playroom and a lot of fun to play with. The tepees and tents are our favorites. A variety of tent designers are available online, get your little one a best of it.

  • Play Kitchen

Play kitchens are infinite pleasure for kids, from the time they can stand up and play to becoming a “big child” and playing restaurant.

  • Dollhouse

My daughters have had their doll house for the past seven years. It’s been something we’ve been able to add to as they’ve grown: additional people, furnishings, and so on. They play dollhouse virtually every day, even at the ages of 7 and 8.5. We’ve subsequently upgraded to a large playhouse. Their older brothers enjoy the dollhouses as well, but since they spend so much time putting them together, they aren’t thrilled if the younger brothers destroy them while they are at school! Buy them using not on the high street discount code.

  • Animals

Toy animals are a fun thing to start collecting while they’re little and add to as they become older. They’re entertaining to play with in the playroom or outside (or in the tub!).
